haiz, i am not looking forward to my job anymore after my first day at work today. To many ppl, my job may be quite slack and nothing much to do, but to me i find it really boring and its so hard to pass time. its not a job which i would consider interesting.
the first few hours was the worst coz monday morning will have alot of patients coming for cpf medical checkup. I have to key in the patient's particulars, print them and paste on their medical card, file the letters and find their old records before sending it to the doctors.
Until around 2 hrs later there are lesser patients, sometimes i have nothing to do and just sat down looking at the monitor or the plasma tv which was featuring the oscars then. i even saw the part where reese witherspoon was awarded best actress. (darn! should be felicity huffman wat!)

after lunch was much better, there were less patients and i roughly got the idea what i am supposed to do. One of my colleagues, Suzie, treated us cake as it is her birthday today. Anyway, something happened later in the afternoon which totally PISSED ME OFF!
U see, i am suppose to refer the patients to a particular doctor, there are two doctors around: Dr Liu & Dr Chris Goh. Dr Liu normally would take a long time to do medical checkup for her patients while Dr Goh is totally opposite. Therefore the waiting list for Dr Liu was quite long and i was told to refer new patients to Dr Goh so that they won't have to wait too long.
however, Dr Goh was not very pleased with it and told me when i entered his office to place a new particulars on his desk, "why do u keep refering patients to me and not Dr Liu?"
(giving me the pissed-off face)
er...
i replied promptly, " coz the waiting list for Dr Liu is still quite long."
"She has been seeing the same patient for nearly 2 hrs!! I have been seeing new patients......"
" er..."
i just left.
stupid doctor! dont exaggerate can? where got alot of patients? u were smsing or surfing the net lor.. since u have nothing to do now, why don't u do wat u should do?
