After the initiation (which is the blindfolding activity), we went back to our halls to wash up ourselves and catch some sleep before preparing for the SP (Secret Pal) Night later. Before that, our OG guys took pictures of our rickshaw man, OWEN! haha, we were making fun of his oversized shirt which made him look like a rickshaw man as well as a garang guni la!

After washing up, i couldn't fall asleep afterwards..Soo pei and I stay awake and wrote a card for each of our OG guys..in the end managed to write 3 only, soo pei dozed off later while i just sat there in daze..my mind couldn't really function well but didn't want to slp coz i dun want to wake up feeling more tired later.
Around 1pm we went down for lunch before dolling ourselves up for the SP night..half of us felt totally sian about the whole thing when we think of meeting our SP later..lol we didn't prepare for any plastic bags so we prayed that they ain't 'cui'..haha
oh ya, our SP night was held at Orchid Country Club which is located at Yishun! Its a pretty nice place i must say!
before meeting our SP, i sort of knew who was BATMAN already. from the description i gathered and my observations, my SP is none other than a 'chao ah beng' from the VILLIANS. alright, maybe i shouldn't be so bad to label him as a chao ah beng in the first place, but does look like one from far..in the end, i found out he wasn't an ah beng at all~ maybe i should stop making false assumptions on ppl. =/
anyway, BATMAN was okay..
not long after our OG 'ran away' from our SP and gathered together..the rest of the night were games n some disco going on. danced a lil but felt abit strange afterwards so ended up chatting with jeff at a corner. maybe its because i haven been clubbing for more than a year, dancing doesn't seem to interest me anymore. well, nice chat with jeff (one of the OG guys in my group, thought he was a chiongster when i first saw him but apparently he doesn't like clubbing at all..another false assumption).
SP night was fun..but sadly everything has to come to an end..that was our last night in Insinyur..
after the SP night, the girls continued writing the cards for the guys before we went to bed..~didn't really want the next day to come so fast..coz it will be the end of Insinyur..and i will miss the camp very much. thankfully everyone in our OG stayed from DAY 1 till the end...=)

INSINYUR CAMP 2007Day 4:
darn, the weather wasn't good for our Sentosa trip. I was hoping to get some tann but the sun seems to be hiding away from me during the whole camp, and now the rain came..i wondered how are we going to carry on with our activities.
but thankfully when we reached Sentosa, the rained stopped and we proceed to different stations for games~ one of the stations was 'hai dai xuan' which some people mention its stupid to go all the way to Sentosa and play 'hai dai xuan'. Our group lost that game and we were given garlic marshmallows which sucks totally..but overall i think the other stations were pretty alright~
the main highlight was the 'Mua Chee'! okie, this is the most torturing and painful game i've came across in my entire life. everyone (more than 100 of us) have to lie side by side with our face facing down..den one by one will roll on top of us. To make things worse, they threw sand and pour water on us, causing abrasions..
u might think that lying on the sand is much worse than rolling on top on others..den u're wrong! in fact i think rolling over them was more terrible~ the gls grabbed ur ankles and wrists and rolled us over..the sand on their hands actually caused more abrasions~ but our gl and SA were very nice to us, constantly asking us if we were ok and helped us removed the sand on our faces and hands~
i think our group has the most caring GLs and SA ever! =)
but then, towards the end i was elbowed by someone on my head twice la..~ darn painful..
after the sentosa trip, we went back for our Auction Dinner..basically we've to bid for ingredients to cook our dinner that night using those 'credits' we earned along the way. Our group did fairly ok~ but one of the mysterious item we bid was a box of ice..lol tts pretty funny!
our big chef was Cliburn~ surprisingly this guy can cook well! lol (i'm still waiting for my chicken rice)
after the auction dinner, everyone thought we were heading to bed afterwards. however, *horror horror* they said we ain't going to sleep coz they planned an activity for us which last the whole night itself~
we were blindfolded and went thru many obstacles around the school~ actually not obstacles la, its mainly stupid and silly things which the seniors made us to do..the hardest part was we had to move around despite how tired and restless we were. when everything was over, it was 7am in the morning!! DAY 5 already!! arghhh~

Before i carry on with this entry, some people might be wondering why am i still blogging at this time when i'm suppose to be having Sports Camp this week! Well, i withdrew from the camp yesterday for some reason i shall not say here..i guess some of my friends were in shock because i was so looking forward to this camp all along. I would like to apologise to a few friends of mine who made the effort to contact SC committee and tried to pull me in..Sorry guys..hopefully u guys will understand why i've made this decision~

Caught Transformer with a friend yesterday, surprisingly it was still full-house! The first half was entertaining and overall i think it was just slightly above average, not as WOW as what my friends claim or maybe because i wasn't a transformer fan~ the fighting scenes were kinda confusing as well..sometimes i dun even know who was fighting with who..but anyway, good graphics!
After the Transformer, had my first OG outing with those Spartans peeps..went to waraku for dinner first, Harry Potter (again!!!) and lastly, Rochor beancurd.
everything was great, hopefully there will be more outings like this in the future~

INSINYUR CAMP 2007
Day 3:
The day's program was Amazing Race around the island, we had to solve 6 out of the 8 clues to find each specific locations..
when we reached the locations, we had to complete various tasks before proceeding on~
i personally enjoyed myself during the Race..running in the rain, shouting our cheers everywhere and finding strangers to help us out..Spartans did quite well and came in THIRD! we received 5 extra credits for our Auction Dinner.. YAY!
later in the night was the campfire~ i wouldn't say the campfire was great~ but our skit was not bad i must say! haha we basically came out with funny ideas and make fun of the encounters we had with our SP the night before~ it was fun and everyone did a great job!! well done =)
