First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL! forever 18 yea? ahah..
**
it was nice catching up with a friend i didn't keep in touch for so long. I've been a terrible friend, always turn down gatherings and all, finally met up Rachel 6mths later. Hard to find a friend who share the same thinking, the same interest and can tok anything under the sun with u..glad she's one of those rare precious gems i've found! *grins*
(yup, lucky we didn't lost the connection..)
before the meetup i pay a visit to the dentist. Had an X-ray and Dr Edwin Tan brief me about my situation. Both wisdom tooth are 'jammed', meaning they cant grow out fully as they are slanted and blocked by the molar.
(not my x-ray but similar condition)
Its quite impossible to clean thoroughly, bits of food will stuck inside can causes tooth decay and by the time it happens, the molar will also be affected..by then, 2 teeth will have to pluck out instead of just 1.
I figure out its a sooner or later thing to remove my wisdom tooth, since i have lots of time right now, then the more i should do it! Besides i don't want to lose my molar as well coz i've already lost 4 teeth to my braces, no more plucking out useful teeth or else there'll be no more teeth left..lol
Dr Tan said my headache is probably caused either by the 2 nerves shown in my X-ray, d wisdom tooth or the cavity. Yes, CAVITY! argh..lucky i paid a visit to the dentist, i had a nicely done dental fillings now..d same colour as other tooth, no more ugly blackish amalgams..yay!
I'm scheduling my surgery next monday but i'm not mentally prepared yet. The whole procedure will be cutting my gum open first, drill my wisdom tooth into half before removal and stitch back the wound afterwards. Sounds freaking scary to me.. =( hope i can endure thru the recovering days
Dinner was at Marche with a pri sch friend, i must say i'm very disappointed with the place. I can't find my warm crepes, only dessert crepes. No pizza, no teppanyaki..bascially the food choices are quite limited. I just missed the outlet at Suntec!! Marche is definitely out of my list now, not gonna go there again.
Whats more, the movie Norbit is a waste of time and money. Its not even funny at all, i tried to laugh but the jokes were way too cold. In short, I just hate this film.

Undercover officer Nick (Daniel Wu) had spent the last eight years penetrating into the core of a drug sales ring working his way up from a street dealer post to the managerial position handling cargo deliveries for Jong (Andy Lau) - the biggest player in the local heroin market. When the ailing Jong makes Nick his protégé, Nick could not but sway before money and power and starts to perform his role like a real drug trafficker.
This, together with his affair with heroin-addict Jane (Zhang Jingchu), causes Nick to becomes more and more confused about his true identity, and eventually leads to a disastrous end. Based on materials provided by retired undercover agents of the police force, "Protégé" attempts to realistically tell the story of undercover agents in the clandestine drug world, who struggle to constantly walk on the fine line between justice and crime, but who will never see the day of serving in the regular police force.
Directed by Derek Yee (One Night In Mongkok), produced by Peter Chan (Perhaps Love).

Caught this film at Vivo yesterday..I've been dying to watch this film not becoz of Daniel Wu or Louis Koo but my all time fave, ANDY LAU! *grins*
There isn't much exciting scenes though, i guess the Director wants to focus more on the production and trafficking drugs rather than trying to make it into a typical hk police-n-theft film. I like the part where they demostrated how they produced Heroin..the process seems a lil like baking cakes, haha..with all the measuring cups, oven, trays etc.
Zhang JingChu surprises me with her good acting skills, she looks like a walking corpse after taking the drugs till at a moment i thought i was watching horror film. Her child, Jing-Jing, is so adorable..sad to see how the next generation are affected by parents who took drugs.
Heard the director has done alot of research before filming, from the harvesting of poppy plants at the Golden Triangle in Thailand, which is one of the Asia's largest opium-producing areas, to the hands of individual junkie trafficking drugs.
I didn't get enough of Andy Lau in the end, Louis Koo and Anita Yuen seems to be outcasted as well. Too much of Daniel Wu scenes, unfortunately i'm not a fan of him..I couldn't help smiling when i saw 2 scenes of the mediacorp artiste, Qi YuWu, towards the ending too. Overall i think this film is worth watching! =)

Can someone tell me what is so special about Valentine's Day? Honestly, i have no idea. Maybe its because i have not spend a single Vday with anyone yet, for the past 18 years of my life i prefer to spend this day at home. Am i a loser? I dun think so.
Tml will be a day where most places will break the record of "most couple being seen" than any other days. Girlfriends will clutch to their boyfriends' arms while holding a bouquet of flowers as they walk down the street of Orhcard Road. Some bimbo gfs would take a quick glance of others and compare whose bouquet is bigger because bigger bouquet to them means:
Your Boyfriend Loves You More.
The one with bigger bouquet will win & she continues walking down the street with her head stuck up as high as a peacock, proudly showing off the dozen of going-to-wit-soon flowers.. the one loses will secretly 'blame' their boyfriends for not splurging enough money on them unlike others.
(this scenerio only apply to certain ppl...perhaps you? no...? ook then others...~)
Tell me which is more romantic.
1) Receiving flowers & gifts during special occasions ONLY. He nv fail to show up with flowers but its only during ur birthday or vdae...very routine, every year would be the same.
or
2) Receiving flowers & gifts on any other days --> 'normal days', just wanna give u a surprise even if its just during an usual date.. he would love to see the surprise look on ur face and a smile which comes straight from the heart right after.
Does spending time with ur partner on this day and neglecting her for the rest of the 364 days shows that u love her more than anybody else in the world? To some guys, it might be an 'annual task' for him to donate a part of their yearly bonus in return for less quarrels and more love for the near future..sounds like a good investment to me, and maybe its just something which they must do for their partner or else end up being labelled as a bad boyfriend.
Recently someone told me he does not have any dates on Vday..even the ugliest and fattest friend of his gets a date and he felt like a loser! In tt case..i am a loser too!! c'mon, dateless on Vday doesn't mean you're a loser or anything..To me, a loser is someone who cheats on other ppl's feelings..someone who just want to be with ppl they dun love in exchange for luxuries.
This post isn't trying to console myself and to all the singles out there..u guys shouldn't be sad because we all know everyday is valentine's day if u truly love a person =)

Was reading a forum abt relationship talk a moment ago, nothing better to do..so..ya, just reading it for fun. Anyway, i was browsing through this topic "Is There True Friendship Between Opposite Sex?" i remember recently a guy-friend of mine told me he doesn't believe so, he didn't elaborate why but i don't quite agree with what he says..till i came across this 'Ladder Theory' which was mention in the topic.
Guys: Please read
THIS WEBSITE and tell me what u think.

One of the pages also mentions about the difference between a Man's Ladder and a Woman's Ladder. I'm not sure abt how true is the Man's Ladder but i think the Woman's Ladder is quite accurate..dun agree with everything but i believe most women does have 2 ladders.

2 papers down, 1 more to go!
Lacking of posts these days coz i'm having my final term examination. This examination will be the last one in poly for me..perhaps the last one in my whole life if i cant make it to locals..still considering the overseas uni or UOL.. *sad*..
Had my Digicom and IC Design paper this week. The latter was darn difficult and the multiple-choice questions are a killer..i think it will be hard to substain an A for tt module.
As for Digicom, i think its pretty much okay..manage to do all the long questions and praying that the mcqs dun pull me down again.
Left the Network Paper on Monday. now.shall blog again after that.
