time to blog coz someone is bugging me for more entries =(
alright, recently nothing much happened..the only thing was the Shape Run i took part last Sunday held at Esplanade (again!). This year i signed up fast enough to secure a place for the 10km run coz the previous year, my application was rejected due to the overwhelming response.
anyway the whole experience of Shape Run was pretty nice.. though the route was pretty boring..no up or down slopes and part of it was running at Marina South..which brought back memories of the Standard Chartered marathon coz the first quarter of the route was at MS as well...didn't really like to run at MS..there's nothing much to see, i would prefer to run at East Coast instead..that's why AHM is the best..coz the boring MS route wasn't included.
i also recognised many familiar faces during the run, those ladies who always run the same pace as me..haha i guess i shall see them for the next run again, the Great Eastern Women10k.
in the end i clocked in with a timing of 56mins..not gd enough compared to 52mins for Great Eastern Women10k..i can see my stamina is dropping..oh well..
btw, the goodie bag is really good!
a nike shirt and lots of complimentary passes to gyms and yoga classes! not forgetting those health n beauty products to try..haha yay...~! Fitness First on friday and the Planet Fitness on my recess week!! =D
the first thing we tried was the soya bean n fried youtiao..the youtiao was very oily but who cares its nice when dip into the soya bean.. =)
after the You Tiao Da Wang, we intend to grab some dim sum at Geylang Lor27..walked till the end but couldn't find the shop, maybe it isn't open during midnight so we walked back to grab some desserts instead.
we ordered a few to try, the 'gui ling gao' which is the herbal jelly, mango pudding, milk pudding and egg pudding..i had egg pudding but it wasn't very nice, the ginger taste in it was too strong..prefer Ben's mango pudding instead..
then we purposely ordered the herbal tea, which is extremely bitter, just for the number guessing game..

Supper at Jalan Kayu~!
Our last stop was at Jalan Kayu for the pratas..I've heard some friends raved about the pratas there while some said the standard of prata has dropped drastically. Boon Bee n me ordered one cheese prata and egg prata..the outer skin of the cheese prata was very crispy, tasted like its been fried instead..i didn't really like it, still prefer the one at Kent Ridge..the egg prata was not bad actually..
