I spent my long weekend reading this book 'The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists' by Neil Strauss and would like to introduce to u guys..
The book is about how the author transform himself from an AFC (Average Frustrated Chump) to PUA ( Pickup Artists) and finally a PUG ( Pickup Guru).
In case some of you did not know, PUA are men who use effective techniques to charm women or get them in bed. This usually happen in clubs, bars or strip clubs where these PUA frequent, they would select their targets and use their own methods to start off a conversation with women, get their numbers and having s*x with them if they were interested.
Sound interesting huh? Well, these PUA really exist and this book is not a fiction!! The author, Neil, was asked to investigate the community of PUA where these men would trade techniques and held lessons for AFC to hook women.
Eventually Neil got to know one of the 'guru' named Mystery, a magician who charges $2,250 for a weekend pickup workshop ( i've done some research and the price has rose up to $3000+ already..haha). Neil attended his workshop and became one of his brightest students, he learnt techniques, how to identify IOI ( indicator of interest) and many other tricks. He uses the name, 'Style' to hide his real identity and spent 2 years with the PUA.
This is a really entertaining book and i'm pretty sure guys can learn a few techniques from it. However, i personally feel that these techniques only apply to Westerners as they are more open-minded. Well, its up to you to decide after reading it.....
