I 'longbang' dad's car to esplanade at around 2am in the morning. Kinda ridiculous to reach there at this time but didn't want to take a bus down and midnight charges for cab is crazy.
Due to the road block, dad dropped me off at Padang instead and i made my way there. I must say its quite freaky to walk alone at night, there were groups of teenagers ( i suppose) hanging out together drinking beer. Kinda scare they might come forward and hack me to death if they were drunk.
I managed to find a perfect spot to get some rest but was approached by the policeman and was told to shift to a brighter place instead coz its kinda chaotic outside (?). Er..i duno if that makes sense but its nice of them to care about my safety..so i moved to a new place and ending up observing the passerby (and feeding mosquitoes)...
saw this group of young ah-bengs who talked so loudly with their english-cum-chinese-cum hokkien and did childish acts like racing to the staircase and kicking cans, followed by 3 ah-lians strolling behind. i guess those youngsters should be at home, i wonder if their parents have been doing their job...
I was kinda hungry later and decided to head down to 7-eleven for some coffee..but guess what? i found Xing Wang Hong Kong Cafe and its opened for 24hrs!! whee~!!
Nv try any Hong Kong Cafe yet..i guess i'm lacking behind time..
I had their famous drink 'ying yong', basically its tea+coffee..a nice combination and i realli like the taste of it. Its my first time trying 'ying yong' so i couldn't make a comparision. I guess most probably i will get addicted to this drink.
the interior was quite nice, however the food choices doesn't appeal to me.
after my 'ying yong'..i went back to Padang and getting myself ready for the ruN~!
